On your travel you will meet Cameroon’s dynamic communities, explore royal palaces and living museums, learn about historic sites including the slave trade legacy at Bimbia, and unwind at the welcoming coastal city of Limbe, the "City of Friendship."

Cameroon Grassfields People Travel Programme:

Day 1: Arrival in Yaoundé

Arrive at Yaoundé airport (night flight). Warm welcome by your guide and private transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yaoundé.

Day 2: Yaoundé to Batoufam & Bangou

Morning city highlights in Yaoundé. Depart for the West Region (approx. 250 km drive). Visit Batoufam Royal Palace and its living museum; meet the local King for cultural insights. Continue to Bangou (50 km). Relax in the scenic Tagidor Garden and overnight at a Tagidor hotel.

Day 3: Full Day at Tagidor

Visit Tagidor's attractions, gardens, cultural experiences, and leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Tagidor Hotel.

Day 4: Bangou to Bapa, Baham, Bandjoun & Bafoussam

Drive to Bapa Kingdom for the royal palace and rich museum. Proceed to Baham and explore the sacred Fovu Caves. En route to Bafoussam, visit the impressive Bandjoun Chief's Palace. Dinner at Zingana hotel in Bafoussam.

Day 5: Bafoussam to Foumban, Bamendjing & Mbouda

Head to Foumban (Bamoun Kingdom): vibrant market, Sultanate Palace and museum, handicraft quarter. Drive to Bamendjing for Noun River lake views and the dam. Stop at Tsopèh Mountain for panoramic West Region landscapes. Continue to Mbouda. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Mangwa (3-star).

Day 6: Mbouda to Bamendjinda & Bafoussam

Trek at the foot of Mount Bamboutos for stunning views. Visit Bamendjinda slavery museum at the royal palace and Metche Waterfalls. Return to Bafoussam for evening relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Zingana Hotel (4-star).
