Morning Departure & Cultural Stops

Pick-up from your hotel in Yaoundé. Enjoy a guided drive through the capital with insights into key attractions and historical facts. Head first to Ekali Village (about 30 km away), renowned for its handmade furniture crafted by local artisans. Stop for a chat with the makers about their techniques, materials, daily life, and traditions. Continue to Mbalmayo (about 25 km further), headquarters of the Nyong & So'o Division to soak in the local vibe. Proceed to Ebogo Village (about 20 km, including ~10 km untarred road).

Nyong River Canoe Excursion & Forest Trek

Board a traditional canoe for a relaxing paddle on the Nyong River. Glide through serene waters surrounded by equatorial forest and spot diverse birdlife, butterflies, fish jumping, and possible wildlife along the banks, showcasing Cameroon's biodiversity. Disembark and trek into the forest to reach the highlight: the awe-inspiring Kossipo tree: a colossal, ancient specimen (over 1,000 years old).Return by canoe to Ebogo Village.
